Designed for drivers who want efficiency without giving up performance, the Hornet R/T combines a 1.3L turbocharged engine with an electric motor to produce an impressive 288 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque. Paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission and electric all-wheel drive, this performance-focused PHEV delivers quick acceleration, confident traction, and the flexibility to handle both daily commuting and longer road trips.

As the premium R/T Plus trim, this Hornet is loaded with upscale features including leather seating, heated and ventilated front seats, heated steering wheel, power front seats, driver memory, power sunroof, 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, 10.25-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen with navigation, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless phone charging, Harman Kardon premium audio system, dual-zone automatic climate control, remote start, proximity key with push-button start, power liftgate, premium alloy wheels, LED lighting, and distinctive R/T styling throughout.

Performance is a major part of the Hornet R/T experience. Its plug-in hybrid system provides instant electric torque, while selectable drive modes allow drivers to tailor how the gasoline and electric powertrains are used. Dodges PowerShot feature can provide an additional temporary performance boost when maximum acceleration is requested, adding another level of excitement to this electrified crossover.

Advanced safety and driver-assistance technology adds confidence with features including Forward Collision Warning with Automatic Emergency Braking, Blind-Spot Monitoring, Rear Cross-Path Detection, Lane Keep Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, parking assistance, backup camera, and additional intelligent safety technologies.

The plug-in hybrid powertrain also gives drivers the opportunity to complete shorter daily trips using electric power while retaining the convenience of a gasoline engine for longer journeys. For GTA commuters who can charge regularly at home or work, the Hornet R/T Plus offers an attractive combination of reduced fuel consumption, everyday practicality, and genuine performance.
