2024 Buick Encore GX

The 2024 Buick Encore GX Avenir AWD combines premium Buick comfort, turbocharged performance and upscale Avenir styling in a versatile compact SUV. Finished in Ebony Twilight Metallic with an Ebony leather-appointed interior, this Encore GX is powered by a 1.3L ECOTEC turbocharged engine paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive, providing confident year-round performance for commuting, highway travel and changing Ontario road conditions.

As the premium Avenir model, the cabin features leather-appointed seating with heated 8-way power front seats and 2-way power lumbar adjustment for both the driver and front passenger. Driver seat and mirror memory makes it easy to return to preferred settings, while a heated steering wheel, dual-zone automatic climate control and remote start provide additional comfort throughout the seasons. Buick QuietTuning with Active Noise Cancellation helps create the quiet, refined cabin experience expected from an Avenir.

A power moonroof brings additional light and fresh air into the cabin, while the hands-free power liftgate makes accessing the cargo area easier when your hands are full. The 40/60-split folding rear seat provides flexibility for passengers and larger cargo, while a 120-volt power outlet and front and rear USB ports add everyday convenience.

Technology is centred around Buick’s 11-inch HD touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for compatible smartphones. An 8-inch multi-colour Driver Information Centre keeps important vehicle information clearly visible, while the Avenir Convenience Package adds a Bose premium 7-speaker audio system for an upgraded listening experience.

Buick Driver Confidence includes Automatic Emergency Braking, Forward Collision Alert, Front Pedestrian Braking, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Following Distance Indicator and IntelliBeam automatic high beams. An HD Rear Vision Camera provides additional visibility when reversing. This vehicle was produced without Rear Park Assist, as indicated on the factory window sticker.

Outside, 19-inch Pearl Nickel aluminum wheels, Avenir-exclusive clear-lens LED taillamps, LED headlamps and daytime running lamps, roof rails and heated power-adjustable mirrors complement the Encore GX Avenir’s upscale appearance.
