Why I Bought This…
Because I remember factory-ordering these cars in 2001 and waiting to learn which would receive their SLP conversions. A genuine WU8 Y2Y SS Convertible in Sunset Orange Metallic still gets my attention. This one spent 16 happy years with its most recent owner.
Equipment
- Genuine WU8/Y2Y SLP-converted Camaro SS
- Automatic transmission and convertible body
- Sunset Orange Metallic with black interior
- GM build sheet and service history
History and condition
CARFAX lists 12 service records and no reported accidents or damage. The odometer displays miles. Some Canadian service entries appear to record those readings as kilometres, producing potential rollback alerts; the complete report is available for review. We fitted four General G-Max tires, an air filter, battery and rear brakes. Ontario Safety Certified.
