Why I Bought This…
2001 BMW Z3 3.0i — Five-Speed Manual — 37,940 km
Some cars don't need to be complicated to be enjoyable.
This BMW Z3 caught my attention with its Black Sapphire Metallic paint, Dream Red leather interior and remarkably low kilometres. Then there's the equipment: BMW's smooth 3.0-litre inline-six, a five-speed manual transmission and rear-wheel drive.
That's a combination I never get tired of.
The Z3 is small, responsive and easy to enjoy at ordinary road speeds. Lower the roof, find a quiet stretch of road and you'll remember why BMW built these cars in the first place.
Why this one made the grade:
Just 37,940 kilometres
3.0-litre BMW inline-six engine
Five-speed manual transmission
Black Sapphire Metallic over Dream Red leather
Heated sport seats and Harman Kardon audio
Power convertible top
Two-owner Ontario history
CARFAX showing no reported accidents or damage
Ontario Safety Certified
Low mileage is appealing, but history matters just as much. This Z3's ownership history and available documentation are part of what attracted me to it.
If you've been looking for a traditional BMW roadster with the right engine, the right transmission and unusually modest kilometres, this one deserves your attention.
